Reduce reoffending: lead change on the inside

Support us Back to top

Unlocked Graduates develops outstanding leaders to break cycles of reoffending. Our vision is that every prisoner receives the support that they need to flourish and desist from crime.

Our core activity to recruit and support frontline prison officers has long-term support from the Ministry of Justice but we would not be able to work towards our ultimate goal without the generous support of our funders and supporters. They offer crucial funding, pro bono advice and resources that allow us to make an immediate difference at the frontline of our prisons.

#How can you help?

As we work to expand across England, we have urgent need of supporters who will make this growth possible.

We already work with a number of companies, trusts and foundations who are passionate about our work and mission. They provide a range of support and we are actively expanding this network now. Could you help?

Support from trusts, foundations and individual donors has enabled us to invest in our prison officers, amplify their ideas and support the prisoners in their care. Through our Innovation Acceleration Programme, Unlocked officers have founded a new prisoner-led TV information channel at HMP Coldingley and are redecorating the visitors room at HMP Wormwood Scrubs to create a better environment for family visits.

Our corporate partners have offered work placements, pro bono mentoring to our officers and hosted our events. In return they get access to our events and activities as well as our high-calibre graduates, many of whom we expect to work in corporate environments in the future.

Our wider mission means we want to build broad links with experts within the criminal justice sector and beyond. These organisations have offered training and work placements to our officers in order to increase their links to the frontline prisons workforce.

Please consider how you can help us. For more information about long-term support and partnership, contact our Development and Partnerships Manager, Ally Steel at
