Staff team | Head of Curriculum

Frances joined Unlocked in 2025 and is now Head of Curriculum, overseeing Curriculum and implementation across our programmes, and working with Leeds Trinity University on the master’s course for participants on our graduate programme.

Frances has a background in education, specifically Inclusion, SEND, Literacy, and Teaching and Learning. She completed the Teach First programme in 2009. Most recently, she was Vice Principal at The Totteridge Academy, part of the Senior Leadership Team who turned the school around from being one of the lowest performing schools in the country, to now the top 1% for progress, and in the top 40 schools in the country for progress of disadvantaged students.
