Mentoring Prison Officer

Andy joined the Prison Service in 1997 as an OSG at HMP Manchester. He moved to HMP Risley in 2001 and progressed through the ranks, he has worked in most departments and functions within HMP Risley. He is now a Custodial Manager and has been since 2018.

Andy joined Unlocked Graduates in February 2022 as a Mentoring Prison Officer and is currently working to support Unlocked participants at HMP Manchester and HMP Liverpool. He has a strong desire to support prison staff and help them to develop strength and growth to achieve the highest standards to encourage positive change and opportunities for the people in their care.
