Unlocked Graduates spins out from Catch22

#Now registered as standalone charity

After a three-year incubation period as part of Catch22’s incubator programme, Unlocked Graduates has now spun-out to become a separate organisation – registered charity number 1187552.

Unlocked CEO Natasha Porter explains:

“This is an important milestone in our development. Like the other public sector graduate schemes, becoming an independent organisation will put us in the best position to respond quickly to future challenges and opportunities as we sustain and grow our award-winning graduate leadership programme.

“We are incredibly grateful to Chris and the whole team at Catch22 who made our existence possible and hugely accelerated our growth as we work to reduce rates of reoffending by identifying brilliant people and supporting them to spend two years working as frontline prison officers.

“We look forward to continuing our successful partnership with HMPPS to identify and support excellent future prison officers and leaders.”

Chris Wright, CEO of Catch22 comments:

“Unlocked Graduates has done a huge amount to raise the status of prison officers and attract brilliant candidates to pursue careers as prison leaders.  It’s great to see them develop independently and I look forward to following and supporting their progress over the coming years!”
